Our lead topic for this Colloquium will be Your Recruiting Organization Model. Additional topics were voted on by members:
Is your staffing structure in synch with your company's business plans? Are the investments in sourcing, college, interns etc. reflective of where your future talent is going to come from? Are you competitive - an industry leader? How do you know? Please bring an organization chart (or be prepared to draw one) showing how your centralized/decentralized/hybrid staffing organization is structured (along with its relationships to College, Sourcing, Executive, and International as well as HR partners). All participants will have a chance to share their model and solicit feedback.
Discussion on CareerXroads Source of Hire Survey Results: What are your top three-four Sources of Hire? Are you spending enough on improving/maintaining them or are you in search of new pools of talent?
Staffing Efficiency: Online applications excepted, how does your corporate website enhance your staffing efficiency and productivity? What would you do without it? All participants to bring the best feature of their staffing pages and its value to them.
The Candidate Experience: What part of your “organization” supports the Candidate Experience? What dedicated resources do you have? How are roles and responsibilites broken out?
As is our practice at CareerXroads Colloquium events we ask all attendees to bring “what keeps them up at night” in their recruiting organizations so we can help each other solve those issues. After all, it's the caliber of our group that makes each session unique and provides that Aha! moment you'll take back to your office.

March 10 – Monday
- 6:00 PM Meet in the hotel lobby for short ride to dinner at The Germantown Commissary. Don't miss this chance to enjoy good ol' Memphis Barbeque while you renew acquaintances and make new ones before the Colloquium starts!
- After dinner we'll be getting a behind the scenes tour of FedEx headquarters in Memphis. Promises to be a fun peek at how all those packages make it out on time!
March 11 – Tuesday
- 7:45AM Meet in hotel lobby for transportation to International Paper meeting location.
- 8:00 AM Breakfast and Introductions.
- 8:30-4:30 Meeting Session.
- 6:00PM Meet in hotel lobby for shuttle to dinner at Owen Brennan's.
March 12 - Wednesday
- 8:00-2:30 PM Meeting session, continental breakfast will be served. Some of our most thought-provoking, insightful discussions happen towards the end of the meeting session. In an effort to have full participation it is important that everyone stay until the meeting adjourns. Thank you.

- Turn Left at the Airport Exit on Democrat Road;
- From Democrat, take the Plough Boulevard/Airways North exit
- From Plough Boulevard/Airways North, take the I-240 exit to Nashville (keep to the right as you take that exit);
- From I-240, take the Getwell North exit (exit # 20-B) Follow Getwell north until it makes a "T" intersection with Park Avenue;
- Turn right (east) onto Park Avenue;
- At the first stop light (just a block away) turn left (north) onto Goodlett Street;
- Follow Goodlett across the railroad tracks to Central Avenue; Turn left (west) onto Central
- Follow Central and Turn Right onto Innovation Drive (across the street from the Holiday Inn)
Parking Garage: The parking garage is adjacent to the Fogelman Executive Center. Our guests will receive complimentary parking passes from IP - be sure to request yours from Shelia before the end of the meeting session.
