Is your staffing structure in synch with your company's business plans? Are the investments in sourcing, college, interns etc. reflective of where your future talent is going to come from? Are you competitive - an industry leader? How do you know? Please bring an organization chart (or be prepared to draw one) showing how your centralized/decentralized/hybrid staffing organization is structured (along with its relationships to College, Sourcing, Executive, and International as well as HR partners). All participants will have a chance to share their model and solicit feedback.
Discussion on CareerXroads Source of Hire Survey Results: What are your top three-four Sources of Hire? Are you spending enough on improving/maintaining them or are you in search of new pools of talent?
Staffing Efficiency: Online applications excepted, how does your corporate website enhance your staffing efficiency and productivity? What would you do without it? All participants to bring the best feature of their staffing pages and its value to them.
The Candidate Experience: What part of your “organization” supports the Candidate Experience? What dedicated resources do you have? How are roles and responsibilites broken out?
As is our practice at CareerXroads Colloquium events we ask all attendees to bring “what keeps them up at night” in their recruiting organizations so we can help each other solve those issues. After all, it's the caliber of our group that makes each session unique and provides that Aha! moment you'll take back to your office.
