CareerXroads® Colloquium - Spring 2010 Event

Dates: May 11-12
Location: Seattle at Microsoft

Discussion Topics

Our lead topic for this Colloquium will be Sourcing. Detailed discussion points as voted on by members are:

  • Leveraging Social Networks: True community-based recruiting or sophisticated data mining? What organizational changes have you made to support LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter or eCampaigns etc.?
  • Leveraging Referrals: Next best practices for Employee, Alumni, Vendor and Customer. Can every opening be filled with a referral? If we could, would we want to?
  • Contact Relationship Management Systems (CRM): Should you really track relationships and build pipelines or simply map networks?
  • The Holy Grail: Sourcing's ROI. Bring it on.
  • SEO/SEM (Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing): Is it working? Do you have metrics you can share?
  • Emerging Technology Tools: What works...What is not working...

As is our practice at CareerXroads Colloquium events we also ask all attendees to bring “what keeps them up at night” in their recruiting organizations so we can help each other solve those issues. After all, it's the caliber of our group that makes each session unique and provides that Aha! moment you'll take back to your office.

The CareerXroads® Colloquium is different from other industry networking groups. This is a group of corporate recruiters from some of the largest companies in the world, who really "get it" when it comes to high volume recruiting, staffing technology and cutting-edge recruiting. It is a group that shares what's working, what's challenging and what's around the corner. Think you've got what it takes? Start with a meeting and you'll be hooked.
